Child safety is reflected in who teaches, how classes are supervised and how QAS works with the host school.
Our Blue Card commitment
All QAS teachers who work with children hold a valid Queensland Blue Card or applicable Exemption Card. Their eligibility is checked before child-related work begins, and their status is linked to QAS in accordance with Blue Card Services requirements.

Verification of valid Blue Card or applicable Exemption Card status for proposed child-facing teachers.
Teacher information
Relevant experience and suitability summaries for the teachers proposed for a program.
Program safety
Program-specific risk and safety information, including agreed supervision and site arrangements.
Business documentation
Relevant business, insurance and compliance information can be discussed during onboarding.
