My 7-year-old has been going to the Indooroopilly campus for almost two terms now. What I really noticed is she stopped saying "I can't draw that" — the teacher never just fixes their work for them, she gets them to figure it out. Last week she came home with a watercolour fish she was so proud of it went straight on the fridge. Worth the Saturday morning drive for us.

Booked a trial mostly to see if my son would actually sit still for an hour. He did. Small group, only about six kids, so the instructor actually had time for each of them. He's now done a full term and asks every Wednesday if it's "art day". No complaints from me.

My daughter is 13 and was getting bored with the usual school art. The advanced class has actually pushed her — she's learning proper shading and proportion now instead of just colouring in. Teacher is patient but does give real feedback, which is what she wanted. Highly recommend for older kids who are a bit more serious about it.
