Benefits of Our Storytelling & Art Class
From Story to Picture
Children listen to a story, then bring it to life in their own artwork — strengthening both listening comprehension and visual imagination at the same time.
Stronger Communication & Vocabulary
By retelling and illustrating what they've heard, students naturally build their vocabulary and learn to express ideas clearly, in both words and images.
Confidence to Share Their Ideas
There's no single "right" picture — every child interprets the story differently. Presenting their own version helps them take pride in their ideas and speak up with confidence.

Testimonials
The format is so clever — the teacher tells a story and the kids draw their own version of it. My 5-year-old comes home and retells the whole story to us using her picture. She's talking more and her drawings actually have a beginning and end now, not just random scribbles.

My son is 6 and pretty shy, doesn't say much. This class has been brilliant for him because the story gives him something to start from — he doesn't have to think up a blank-page idea. He's started narrating little stories to his drawings at home, which we've never seen before.

Loved that it combines reading and art in one. My daughter isn't that into sitting still for books, but give her a story she then gets to draw and she's hooked. Sneaky way to get her engaged with stories, honestly. Two terms in and still excited every week.
